Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Soulful Shifters Moving LLC
Scheduling a move reserves labor, time blocks, and operational capacity. Once a date is secured, that time is removed from market availability.
By booking services, the customer agrees to the following cancellation and rescheduling terms.

A deposit may be required to secure a service date.
• Deposits are applied toward total service cost
• Deposits reserve crew availability
• Deposits compensate for administrative scheduling and calendar allocationUnless otherwise stated in writing, deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellation notice must be submitted in writing.
The following timeline applies:
• 72+ hours before service: Deposit retained as scheduling fee
• 24–72 hours before service: Deposit retained + possible additional administrative fee
• Less than 24 hours before service: Up to 2 hours of labor may be chargedSame-day cancellations or no-shows may result in billing of:
• Minimum labor block reserved
• Crew dispatch costs
• Administrative feesFailure to provide access at the scheduled time is considered a same-day cancellation.

If the booking was made through a third-party marketplace:
• Platform cancellation terms govern
• Refund timelines are subject to platform policy
• Platform fees may not be refundableSoulful Shifters Moving LLC does not control third-party refund processing.
Customers must review and comply with the applicable platform’s cancellation terms at the time of booking.

Rescheduling is not guaranteed.
Requests are subject to:
• Crew availability
• Seasonal demand
• Operational capacityRescheduling within 72 hours of service may result in:
• Deposit forfeiture
• New deposit requirement
• Rate adjustments based on new datePeak season dates (end of month, weekends, holidays) may require new pricing confirmation.

In the event of:
• Severe weather
• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Unsafe travel conditionsSoulful Shifters Moving LLC reserves the right to:
• Modify arrival windows
• Reschedule services
• Suspend operations for safetyWeather-related delays do not automatically qualify for deposit refunds.

In rare circumstances requiring rescheduling due to:
• Equipment failure
• Crew emergency
• Unforeseen operational disruptionThe Company will:
• Notify customer promptly
• Offer next available date
• Apply deposit toward rescheduled service -
Crew members are not authorized to:
• Approve cancellations
• Issue refunds
• Modify cancellation penaltiesAll cancellation and rescheduling decisions must be documented and authorized by the Company in writing.
