Choose the crew size that fits your move. Soulful Shifters uses service minimums to reserve the crew, prepare for the project, and provide professional labor during your confirmed service window.
Our services are labor-only. Customers provide the rental truck, trailer, moving container, driver, and transportation when required.
Customers provide the rental truck, trailer or moving container and an authorized driver. Soulful Shifters employees do not operate customer-provided or customer-rented vehicles.

The right crew size depends on your inventory, property access, stairs, walking distance, vehicle size, and requested services.

Crew recommendations are based on the information provided during the move-planning process. Selecting fewer movers than recommended may increase the amount of time required to complete the work.
What Your Service Minimum Includes
Your minimum reserves the selected crew for the confirmed service window and includes approved moving-labor services such as:

Loading and unloading
Furniture lifting and placement
Organized truck or container loading
Approved furniture assembly and disassembly
Basic moving-equipment use when included in the service plan
Crew coordination during the scheduled service
Standard travel to the first approved service location within the confirmed service area
Standard travel from the final approved service location after completion
Clarification
The service minimum applies even when the requested work is completed before the minimum time expires. Unused minimum time is not refundable or transferable.
How billable time works
Time Between Locations
When the crew travels with the customer’s move between an approved pickup location and destination, that travel time counts as service time.

Traveling from the apartment to the storage unit
Traveling from the pickup address to the delivery address
Traveling between multiple approved service locations
Additional Time
When the project continues beyond the service minimum, additional time is charged at the hourly rate for the selected crew.
The crew will communicate with the customer when it appears that additional time may be necessary.
Service Completion
Billable time ends after the approved work is completed and the customer has reviewed the service with the crew lead.
Your Service Begins
Billable service time begins at the confirmed crew arrival time or when the crew is ready to begin work at the approved service location.
Delays caused by unavailable access, missing keys, elevator restrictions, absent transportation, incomplete packing, or customer unavailability may count toward the reserved service window.
Labor Only Service
Soulful Shifters provides the professional moving crew. We do not currently provide or operate moving trucks for customer relocations.

Conditions That May Affect Your Move Plan
The published rates cover standard moving-labor projects. Certain conditions may require additional time, a larger crew, additional equipment, or a custom review.

Elevators and loading-dock requirements
Oversized or extremely heavy belongings
Fragile, antique, or high-value items
Furniture requiring assembly or disassembly
Multiple pickup or delivery locations
Storage-unit or moving-container restrictions
Significant changes to the inventory or property access
IMPORTANT NOTE
Pianos, safes, commercial equipment, exercise machines, oversized appliances, hazardous materials, and other specialty items require advance review and may not be accepted.
Undisclosed conditions may result in additional charges, a revised crew recommendation, rescheduling, or cancellation under the applicable service agreement.
Optional and Custom Services
The following requests may require additional review or may affect the estimated service time:

Labor for packing or unpacking approved household belongings when scheduled in advance.

Assembly, disassembly, or reassembly of approved furniture using complete parts, hardware, and instructions.

Projects involving multiple pickup points, delivery locations, storage facilities, or moving containers.

Equipment or protective materials required beyond what is included in the approved move plan.

Services outside the standard operating area require advance review and may include additional travel charges or custom minimums.

Commercial moves, large inventories, unusual access conditions, and other nonstandard projects may require a customized quote.
Choosing the Right Crew
Choose 3 Movers When
Your project includes additional furniture, stairs, longer walking distances, a larger residence, or a need for faster loading and unloading.
Choose 4 Movers When
Your move involves a larger home, substantial inventory, multiple floors, heavy belongings, a large vehicle, or more complex access.
Recommendation note
You do not have to select the crew size alone. Submit your move details and Soulful Shifters will recommend the crew and minimum most appropriate for the project.
Choose 2 Movers When
Your move is relatively small, access is straightforward, and the inventory does not include a large number of heavy or oversized items.
